Fortuno Markets offers you the opportunity to start trading financial markets with the lowest commissions in the industry. Should you accept this offer, and will working with this broker be profitable and safe? We’ll answer these questions in a future article. Here’s what we offer:
- A detailed Fortuno Markets review;
- Client feedback on fortunomarkets.com;
- A comprehensive analysis of the Fortuno Markets trading platform.
Fortuno Markets Background: How Long Has the Broker Been Operating?
Fortuno Markets is reluctant to disclose information about its history and development. The website lacks a dedicated section on the company’s formation, key stages, or achievements. Therefore, assessing the project’s age is primarily based on indirect evidence.
For example, the website’s footer lists the legal entity registration number, suggesting the company was registered in 2024. This information matches the history of the fortunomarkets.com domain, which also appeared around the same time.
This raises another interesting point. Despite the company and domain registration in 2024, the project’s online activity remained virtually invisible for a long time. The first customer reviews and mentions of Fortuno Markets began appearing only a few months ago.
Therefore, it is premature to describe Fortuno Markets as a company with an established reputation and years of experience. Currently, available information indicates only a relatively recent entry into the market.
Account Types and Investment Terms: What Does the Platform Actually Offer?
Fortuno Markets offers clients three types of trading accounts: Premium, Standard, and Unlimited. The differences between them, however, don’t seem particularly significant. In all cases, the minimum deposit is just $10, trades are executed using the Market Execution model, the minimum position size starts at 0.01 lots, and users are promised access to virtually all asset classes, from currency pairs and stocks to cryptocurrencies, ETFs, and bonds.
The main differences relate to spreads, commissions, and leverage. Premium accounts advertise spreads starting from 0.5 pips with no commission, Standard accounts offer spreads starting from 1 pip with commission, and the Unlimited account promises spreads starting from 0.1 pips, no commission, and virtually unlimited leverage.
It’s the leverage parameters that raise the most questions. For Premium and Standard accounts, the broker lists a maximum leverage of 1:500, which is already quite high. However, for the Unlimited account, the situation becomes significantly less clear. The account page states “Unlimited Leverage,” while the technical description clarifies that “unlimited leverage” refers to 1:20,000. However, the website’s main page displays completely different information—the broker advertises leverage of 1:9999+.
Such discrepancies are quite odd. A potential client can’t understand what maximum leverage the company actually offers: 1:500, 1:9999, or 1:20,000. For a financial institution that must disclose trading conditions as accurately as possible, such inconsistencies are a serious drawback.
Furthermore, such high leverage values themselves appear extremely aggressive and even ridiculous. Even most offshore brokers are unlikely to offer such levels, as they greatly increase not only potential profits but also the risk of losing the entire deposit. In regulated jurisdictions, such values are not permitted for retail clients at all. Another point worthy of attention is the marketing claims about zero commissions, zero swaps, and no deposit or withdrawal fees. However, footnotes indicate that interest-free trading only applies to certain instruments, and the specific terms are described in additional rules. In other words, the advertising slogans appear significantly more attractive than the actual terms of service.
Which Trading Strategies Is Fortuno Markets Suitable For?
Based solely on its stated trading conditions, Fortuno Markets positions itself as a universal broker suitable for virtually any trading style. The company offers high leverage, small minimum deposits, support for various asset classes, and market execution.
Traders who prefer short-term strategies will likely feel most comfortable here. Spreads from 0.1–0.5 pips (depending on the account type), minimal or no commissions, and fast execution speeds could theoretically be attractive for day trading and active market interaction.
At the same time, the broker actively promotes Swap-Free accounts, which may attract the attention of investors who hold positions for long periods. However, it’s worth noting that interest-free holding does not apply to all instruments, and the specific terms for using this feature are only partially disclosed.
Leverage deserves special attention. Even with a more conservative value of 1:500, it significantly exceeds the limits in most regulated jurisdictions. If the company does offer leverage of 1:9999 or even 1:20,000, as stated in various sections of the website, such conditions are more suitable for traders willing to take extremely high risks. For novice market participants, using such leverage will lead to rapid capital loss even with minor price fluctuations.
Overall, Fortuno Markets is difficult to classify as a broker focused on a single strategy. The platform claims to support both short-term and long-term trading, but conflicting information about key parameters and a lack of transparency in the terms and conditions make it difficult to objectively assess how effectively it will support a particular trading strategy.
Is Fortunomarkets.com Suitable for Beginners?
At first glance, Fortuno Markets may seem like a fairly beginner-friendly platform. The minimum deposit is only $10, you can open an account in just a few minutes, and the web terminal interface doesn’t seem overloaded with complex features. This low entry threshold allows novice traders to test their skills without a large initial investment.
However, these advantages also conceal significant drawbacks. First of all, the broker offers extremely high leverage, even up to 1:500.
Another controversial issue is the availability of a demo account. While it’s advertised, there’s no option to choose a demo account upon registration; you can only open one of three live accounts. We also didn’t find a comprehensive educational resource on the website to help new users understand the basics of trading, risk management, and the specifics of various financial instruments. As a result, a novice trader gains access to the market but receives virtually no necessary training.
Ultimately, Fortuno Markets isn’t an ideal choice for beginners. However, the company doesn’t hide this. On her website she clearly states that her product is designed more for professionals.
Regulation and Legal Status: Is Fortuno Markets Properly Registered?
The issue of Fortuno Markets’ legal status proved to be one of the most interesting during our investigation. On its website, the broker claims to operate through a company registered in Saint Lucia as a limited liability company (LLC). However, an independent review of this information led to a completely different conclusion.
When searching the official register of Saint Lucia companies, we were unable to find an active organization with this name. Further review of the documents revealed that this company had already been struck off the register. A corresponding notice was published by the Saint Lucia National Corporate Registry, meaning the legal entity no longer has the status of an active company.

The story doesn’t end there. An analysis of archived copies of the website using Web Archive revealed that Fortuno Markets had previously published completely different corporate information. In the past, the broker also referred to a legal entity registered in the UK.
However, this company has also ceased to exist. According to the UK registry, it was officially liquidated on January 13, 2026. In other words, another legal entity referenced by the broker no longer exists.

Therefore, at the time of writing, we found no active legal entities associated with the broker Fortuno Markets. Naturally, given this scenario, it also lacks a license from any financial regulator authorizing it to provide brokerage services.
Given these circumstances, potential clients should exercise particular caution. If a broker lacks valid registration and is not supervised by a financial regulator, investors lack all the necessary protections.
What Do User Reviews Say About Fortunomarkets.com?
The review situation surrounding Fortuno Markets is rather curious. On Trustpilot, the broker currently has 10 user reviews, resulting in an overall rating of 4.4 out of 5. The first review was published on April 23, while the most recent one, at the time of writing, dates back to June 22. As you might expect, every single review is overwhelmingly positive.
Such a small number of reviews, all published within a relatively short period and all expressing highly favorable opinions, should be approached with caution. This pattern proves that the reviews are fabricated, as the broker even doesn’t have a registration.
For this reason, we would not recommend relying solely on these ratings when deciding whether to open an account. A much more objective approach is to evaluate the broker based on its legal status, transparency, trading conditions, and regulatory background rather than on a handful of online testimonials.
Your Experience Is Important
If you have already traded with Fortuno Markets, consider sharing your own experience. Genuine feedback from real users helps other traders make more informed decisions and contributes to a more accurate picture of the platform.
Final Assessment of the Broker
During our investigation, we discovered a number of circumstances that raise questions. Primarily, these include the lack of a valid legal registration, the lack of a license, and a short operating history. The broker’s current reputation is based only on a small number of recent positive reviews. All of this prevents us from considering Fortuno Markets a reliable broker. Before opening an account, we recommend carefully assessing all potential risks and not making a decision based solely on advertising promises.
